This past weekend I had such a blast spending almost the whole time with my amazing group of girl friends! It's hard to get together when all your friends are busy, hard working and passionate (but thats what makes them so great) so getting together to celebrate Cam's birthday and attending a local fashion event was amazing!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMISHAAAA <3
The night started out with an amazing experience at hotel arts located on 12th ave in Calgary. I celebrated by 21st here this past summer, so I was super excited to come back and actually see what the rooms were like. Needless to say, it was incredible (and involved a lot of prosecco)!
From hotel arts the gang headed over to one of my favourite restaurants in Calgary (and Lethbridge): Browns Social House for dinner, drinks and (of course) cake!
Friday night ended off with good times at National on 10th
yes I realize that i skipped Saturday, but it was a pretty low key day. I spent most of the day doing homework and seeing Jared for this family Christmas party.
Sunday was the night of the West Elm Fashion Show featuring looks from Bamboo Ballroom. Kaylee and I headed back downtown to check out this super cool event.
Cheesin all the way to get pizzzzaaaa
Kaylee joined me on a date to Una Pizza & Wine before heading over to West Elm. Una is probably one of the best casual restaurants on 17th! They have pizza that is to die for, specifically the 4-maggi (or as I like to call it, the for-Maggie) but also a super cool and relaxed atmosphere, great deals on wine and the best jar cheese cake in the city (it whipped and comes with "daily changing toppings" (ours was raspberry)! To summarize, if you haven't been before, I highly recommend it.
After dinner we headed down the ave to West Elm. This is for sure my fav furniture store, but it is higher end! The event was benefiting the Children Hospital so we made sure to donate where we could (including Kaylee winning an awesome raffel item from JUSU and other locate Calgary brands that i'm obsessed with).
The event had a live DJ, food samples and some clothing up for sale before the short fashion show started.
All the pieces are from Bamboo Ballroom - located 3 doors down from West Elm on 17th!
Cutest clothing rack of pieces worn in the show (and up for purchase)!
We may have come for the show, but I stayed for the furniture - which hopefully will be in my house one day (like look at this couch?!)
Hope you enjoyed following along with my super fun girls weekend!
